Coding is the new literacy. Learn what it's all about from the absolute beginning by writing real, useful computer programs right on your Mac. In this five-day course, participants will learn the Python programming language, identify Computational Thinking skills, and gather resources to support their own learning and use to teach others.

Hi, I'm Dr. Em. I teach coding and Computational Thinking to 1st-8th graders in Redwood City School District, and I started the Library Code Club. I have a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (for which I used Python!) and a background in video game development.
